Wow! I’m done with my undergraduate years and now it’s finally starting to feel real…

It seems like for fashion majors it’s a little different when starting a career especially for creatives. It’s about knowing the right people, being in the right place, and I’m still constantly learning that. I am also constantly learning that the doors that God opens no man can close. It’s important to know what you’re good at and to perfect that. So that’s what I’m going to do during this season before I attend graduate school in the fall.

“It’s important to know what your good at and to perfect that” – Shalom

First things first, it’s important to have a vision of what you want to do. That’s why I love making vision boards, you have to see it before you see it. I make two, one with PowerPoint and the second with magazines.

I love social media and creating content so I will be blogging full time while interning with various fashion events, attending blogging events, collaborating with bloggers, brands and photographers to keep my skills fresh along with modeling 🤗

*I’ll keep you all posted *

It’s time to start investing!

Here are six things I’m investing in…

I’m investing in My Spiritual Growth

God is teaching me that this is my time of preparation along with teaching me to be thankful and grateful. Don’t doubt the season that God has placed you in, its only preparation for your future.

I have a tea & bible time each morning, thank you to Coffee & Bible Time for motivated me!

Recently, I bought a cute bible journal from Amazon and I absolutely love it.

I’m investing in My Library

I’ve been reading a lot of good books lately…

You can never go wrong with reading. By reading you are basically exploring new worlds!

I’m investing in My Health

Okay, I can be honesty with you all. I fell off a little, more like a lot, over Christmas break but I can say I am back on my keto lifestyle and I am feeling better than ever. The Keto or Ketogenic diet (I don’t like the term diet its more of a lifestyle for me) but it’s basically a low carb high fat lifestyle. The gym has literally became my best friend. This season, I will look snatched! *okur

KetoConnect is a YouTube channel that keeps me inspired on various keto recipes and much more. You name it and it’s on their channel!

I am excited to blog about my own recipes especially nut-free desserts!

I’m investing in My Wealth

  1. In this season, budgeting is my friend.
  2. For graduate school, myscholly is helping me to find various scholarship money. I’m super excited!

I’m investing in My Career & Education

By investing in my career, I have purchased a Microsoft Surface 2 laptop with some cute accessories from Amazon. I have also updated my LinkedIn profile and I officially have business cards. I am looking forward to attending blogging events and continuing to update my blog.

Yes, I am done with college (for now) but learning, researching, and studying never stops.

I love this quote by Napoleon Hill!

Super excited to have joined a blogging network with like-minded bloggers called Style Collective. As well as staying current and keeping track of fashion and social media trends.

I’m investing in My Blog

I have purchased my blog domain, updated my blogging calendar, plus I look forward to creating fun content and collaborating with brands and photographers.

Remember to stay encouraged!

What are you looking forward to accomplishing in 2019?
