If you’re like me, creating content is actually pretty fun. I love natural, bright and vintage filters with a little bit of texture. Most of the time I look for what complements the background, my outfit, and overall theme while keeping the authenticity of the photo. Over- editing can make my pictures look super fake, so I try to stay away from that. Sometimes apps can be very complicated and super expensive but have no fear, I gotcha covered…
Here Are Five Free Apps That Are Great For Content Creators
Storyluxe
Storyluxe really gives my Instagram feed a fresh and chic look. I love how easy and simple the app is to use. There is a option to subscribe or to use the free option. I use the free option which consist of everything from kodak frames to edge borders to neon polaroid’s with super cute backdrops of various textures and colors. I use Storyluxe for my InstaStory as well.
Canva
Canva is another favorite! This free app has so many different options when it comes to layouts. Most of the time I end up using the “Instagram Story” category for my Instagram feed. You can easily upload pictures, add graphics, backgrounds and text. Of course you can purchase the additional options!
InstaLab
Whenever I want a vintage look I use InstaLab. It gives my feed a cool polaroid feel without having a polaroid camera. The free version is super limited but the collage option is super nice. When you have a cute photo that looks amazing in the layout you definitely forget about the limited free options. Of course you have the option to purchase the locked options.
VSCO

Processed with VSCO with c1 preset As shown above, I use VSCO c1. Which is my go to filter when I’m in direct sunlight or when I want to slightly brighten up various accessories. These red boots look vibrant thanks to VSCO. Another favorite because, you have an option to download filters for free. You also get a great variety of editing tools along with the filters. They added a need set of filters that have a natural tint to them and I LOVE IT!!!
PhotoGrid
PhotoGrid was one of the first apps I downloaded years ago. It was my go-to app before creating content was popular. Grids were the only thing I knew how to do. I Honestly thought posting one single picture was super basic lol. PhotoGrid can give your photos a super sophisticated and artsy look. It’s a great tool to use when you love more than picture! Why choose just one?!
All the apps can be downloaded in the App Store
Content creating is fun but hard work. You can never go wrong with challenging yourself and choosing what you like! STAY CREATIVE…
I’m a lightroom fan myself but I see some great quality photos come out of vsco! Never hear of instalab though. Vintage is the new runway! lol
