As a dual graduate candidate at North Carolina State University, I am studying Global Luxury and Management (GLAM). I am receiving a degree from NC State and SKEMA Business School in Paris, France. The GLAM program is unique even within itself. I’ll share more about my program in a later blog post. As our main focus is to learn more about the world of luxury, specifically diving into personal, experiential, and transportation sectors. We also have to look the part wherever we go whether its attending class, networking events or study tours.

Classes have been in session for several weeks now and my cohort is the definition of intelligence and style. Those who know me know that I love fashion. I’ve always cared about how I presented myself but Graduate school has helped me to take my wardrobe and confidence to the next level.
The term “chic” is heavily recommended within our program.
Chic /SHēk\:
adjective
elegantly and stylishly fashionable
Whether it’s Chic Business Professional, Chic Business Casual, or Chic Casual. We’re always chic…

I have a mixture of casual days and business casual/ business professional days. Even on a casual day, I love being chic! It’s definitely a personal choice but when you look good, you feel good.
My goal is to be the best version of myself because that is what God has called me to be.
